2. SF2U TYPE DOUBLE SPRING SAFETY VALVE

Description:
	The SF2U type is a double spring flanged safety valve suitable for steam, hot and cold water at medium pressure sets (3 to 15 kfg/cm²).

Limiting Conditions :

Maximum allowable pressure	15 kgf/cm²
Minimum allowable pressure	3 kgf/cm²
Maximum allowable temperature	5 to +225 °C
End connection inlet and outlet	Flanged PN16
Maximum cold hydraulic pressure test	30 kgf/cm²

Operating Range:

45 to 213 psi by the order.

Note: 150 psi set pressure is always available. Other pressure sets will be available on reqest.

Sizes and Pipe Connections:

DN 65X80(Inlet DN 65, Outlet DN 80) flanged PN 16 (DIN 2505).

Calculation Formula for Relieving Capacity :

Considering thermal input of the vessel
W= 0.840 X 10 ^-3Q
W= Relieving capacity (kg/h)
Q= Thermal input (kcal/h)

Installation:

The Safety valve should always be fitted with the center line of the spring housing vertically above the valve.

Note: The condensed drain must be fitted.
